Steve McGill – Wichita Falls, TX. Steve started in the dance industry as an instructor in FL in 1972 where he met Maria (and it was love at first site!).
Steve and Maria moved back to Texas for a short while before coming back to gorgeous St. Petersburg where they opened a studio of their own. After 16 years running a successful dance studio in St. Pete and welcoming their beloved son, Chris in 1993, Maria and Steve started Designs To Shine in 1996 – and the rest is history!
Steve & Maria are also NDCA adjudicators.

On December 7th
A car light uproaches South bound on Burning tree drive towards the three way stop intersection with Pinehurst street. There is a street lamp right above the stop sign facing the oncoming car.
The car light does not stop at the stop sign, the car goes into the right hand turn at 10:18:10pm right where a cross walk would be if there was one at 10:18:11pm hits Steve McGill
with such force that causes Fatal Injuries.
The driver of that car found a message on her car about two weeks prior saying "STOP DRIVING LIKE THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMONE"
IN RESPONSE SHE PLACES A NOTE IN THE BACK WINDOW OF HER CAR SAYING F... YOU IF YOU DONT LIKE THE WAY I DRIVE!
